Your tree is planted in Scotland

For Earth Day 2023, we embarked on a trial project involving our Second Chance Boxes. The goal was simple: contribute to reforesting the planet.

We decided to back Sumthing & Future Forest Company (FFC) in their efforts to revive the degraded land at the Brisbane Mains site in North Ayrshire, Scotland.

Fill in your order number below to find the specific tree planted in your name amongst the 293,000 trees planned to flourish in the region.

Extra trees planted in Kenya

As part of the Earth Day 2023 initiative, we promised to plant 3 extra trees for every Second Chance Box sold. We did this through our partner Trees for Kenya, a non-governmental group planting trees to make forests healthier again.

They're not just planting trees; they're also working to bring life back to damaged forests, encourage farming that includes trees, and transform schools into green places.

Raising awareness on deforestation

They say preventive action is better than any cure. Truth be told, we can all contribute to planting more trees, but the best way to fight against deforestation is by reducing the demand for single-use paper.

It starts by raising awareness amongst the new generation that the paper industry is one of the largest industrial polluters. It is one of the contributors to the alarming rate of deforestation. Luckily, there are eco-friendly alternatives to pulp paper, such as stone paper.

So, we created a Teaching Kit to help school teachers raise awareness and start making paper alternatives the new norm.

Teaching Kit with engaging games, fun tests and eye-opening facts on deforestation.

Help spread the word among teachers

You know that impact is in the numbers. And we are pretty sure you know at least one teacher who would love to hear about our Teaching Kit

Imagine the impact we could make if everyone shares it with at least one teacher who gets triggered to inspire at least 30 kids to think about single-use paper and how it affects the planet. If enough kids change their writing habits, they might just end up living in a slightly greener world than they do today.
