Stone paper: the new normal?

on January 04, 2021  in MOYU Notebookssteenpapier

rock paper. A sustainable alternative to normal paper for which no trees are cut. Ideal for people who still like to write a lot, because this paper is also erasable! So you never have to buy new notebooks again if you use stone paper, how beautiful is that?!

MOYU has listed a number of fun facts about this stone paper for you.

Stone paper is thicker and sturdier than normal paper.📝
Stones are extracted from a mine and then mixed with recycled plastic, and then stone paper is made from it. This paper is different from the paper you are used to. It is a bit thicker and firmer, and it also feels a bit smoother.

A sheet of stone paper can be rewritable up to 500 times.✍️
This paper is made in such a way that you can remove the ink with a wet cloth. Then you can just write on the same piece of paper again. This can be done up to 500 times, so super sustainable!

Stone paper is water-repellent.☕
Imagine you're taking notes with a coffee on Monday morning. You're not fully awake yet, so you accidentally knock your coffee over, right over your notepad. Normally you could throw everything away, but if you use stone paper you don't have to. With a wet cloth you ensure that your pages look like new again, and you can write on them again. Coffee stains, as you can see in the photo below, will not bother you if you use stone paper.

It comes from limestone from the mining industry.⛏️
Mines in Taiwan release rock residue in the form of limestone. The limestone is ground into calcium carbonate. This powder is then stored in containers and will eventually serve as the main ingredient for our erasable rock paper.

If you use stone paper, you contribute to the fight against climate change, and you never have to buy new notebooks or notebooks again. Using rock paper has nothing but benefits, so what are you waiting for?
